Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Online Courses

This section applies to all pre-recorded courses, including the Font Making Course, the True Italics Course, and all future courses by Type Design Class.

Access

All courses are digital content delivered via Teachable and include immediate, full access to all video lessons, PDFs, and downloadable materials upon purchase.

EU Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

For digital content such as online courses:

By purchasing and requesting immediate access to the course, you:

• Expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content, and

• Acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once access begins.

Refund Policy

If your statutory right of withdrawal still applies, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that access has not yet begun.

Once access to the course has begun following your consent to immediate delivery, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.

Course Updates and Access

• Students receive access for a minimum of 5 years via Teachable, or longer if the platform and course remain available.

• Course content may be updated or improved over time at no additional cost.

Technical Requirements

Students are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary software, hardware, and internet connection. Type Design Class is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side.

2. Workshops

Workshops are live, instructor-led online sessions.

Cancellation by the Student

• Full refund if cancelled at least 14 days before the workshop starts

• 50% refund if cancelled between 7 and 13 days before the workshop starts

• No refund if cancelled less than 7 days before the workshop starts

Cancellation by Type Design Class

If a workshop is cancelled, participants may choose:

• a full refund, or

• transfer to another workshop of equal value

Recordings

Workshop recordings are available for 30 days after the live session.

Technical Issues

Participants are responsible for their own technical setup. No refunds are issued for issues related to internet connection, hardware, or software.

3. Digital Downloads

This includes templates, guidebooks, and other downloadable materials.

• Type Design Class reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
